We were in the area hiking and stopped in after to have a bite. Friendly staff, great food and charming atmosphere. It also seems to be a hit with snowmobilers in the area.

Nice spot to stop in on the way north to ski country. Friendly staff in a unique antique environment. There always seems to be a special when we go.

Every morsel of our french onion soup special was delicious! How often does that actually happen? Our server was friendly, helpful and inquired of us, “Does everything taste as you expected?” Yes, Yes, Yes! Flavourful, fresh and perfectly portioned!

My husband, toddler and I came here after reading reviews. The vibe was cozy, yet fancy and romantic with a countryside feel. The servers were professional, kind, presentable and knowledgeable. The food portions were big, and we loved the homemade country dishes such as turkey, stuffing, soup and prime rib! The warm bread basket was an amazing addition! Highly recommend this place.

The coziest restaurant in Grey County!! Most of the meals here for me have been breakfast, but it’s always outstanding. Staff is wonderful and truly makes you feel like family. Groups big and small, check this place out! You will not be disappointed!

Cozy & good, home-cooked meal. What makes the experience great is the company that joins your table for dinner. Servers are polite & courteous. Always a great time at Mylar & Loreta’s.

You won’t regret making a breakfast, lunch or dinner stop here. Unique country setting filled with antique lighting at every table. Such a cozy, country place with home-cooked meals. Servings are generous and prices reasonable. I’ve enjoyed lunches and dinners here, but heard great things about the breakfasts. Has something for everyone to enjoy.

If you appreciate hearty home cooking, made with Mom’s love but done by professional chef, then you’ve come to the right spot. Your taste buds will water, and you’ll go home full . . . with a doggy bag. The prices are completely justified based on quality, and probably low based on portions. I live in Alberta, and I visit my family in the golden horseshoe every year. I always stop into Mylar & Loreta’s for dinner. Worth the drive or flight from anywhere.

Thank you for a lovely lunch. Stopped with my husband and our 10 year-old nephew last Saturday afternoon. Service was excellent! Food was excellent too! My husband had a burger & fries & our nephew had chicken fingers & fries (both said their fries were tasty & homemade). I had a small Caesar salad (very tasty) and onion rings that we couldn’t finish. I asked our server the size of the chicken fingers because our nephew wanted a bigger order, we ordered the smaller order and he couldn’t finish it. A good portion size for the price! We’ll be back!! Thank you!

My dad and I took my mom here for her birthday dinner. It was fabulous! I had the days special, honey glazed grilled chicken breast over a bed of potato hash (cubed potatoes, peas, corn, onion, tomato, bacon and peppercorn sauce) followed by a moist chocolate cake yum! Mom & dad had the pork roast special…perfect! Will for sure be back. Service was exceptional and can’t beat the price.

Almost exactly half way point between North Bay and London, always a welcome sight for two weary travellers. Have stopped for years to switch drivers and thoroughly enjoy the ambience and great food. Homecooking and a wonderful wait staff sure shortens the rest of the way home. Just like to say thanks.

My family and I stopped in at the beginning of July. We were traveling from up north and were not familiar with the area at all. Everyone was hungry, so we decided to stop. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the ambiance was marvelous. In the future, I will go out of my way to come and visit again. It’s not very often you leave a restaurant with such a warm feeling. Keep up the great work. You all get 5 stars from us!

We just got back to room at the Pretty River Inn after having our Valentines dinner at Mylar & Loreta’s which we are glad the inn recommended because it truly was a home cooked meal away from home, will be headed back home tomorrow but was glad we had a chance to stop by and enjoy a reasonable priced meal that was enough to fill anyone up but we still squeezed in dessert , thank you
